  No. OpenCode includes free models out of the box. You can also connect your own API keys from any of 75+ supported providers, or use existing subscriptions like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT Plus/Pro.
• Can I use my existing AI subscriptions with OpenCode?
  Yes. You can use your GitHub Copilot subscription or ChatGPT Plus/Pro account directly with OpenCode. Just log in with your existing credentials.
• Can I only use OpenCode in the terminal?
  No. OpenCode is available as a terminal interface, a desktop application (currently in beta for macOS, Windows, and Linux), and as IDE extensions for VS Code, Cursor, Zed, Windsurf, and VSCodium.
• How much does OpenCode cost?
  OpenCode itself is free and open source. You can use free included models, bring your own API keys, subscribe to Go ($10/month) for open-source models, or use Zen ($20 pay-as-you-go) for curated premium models.
• What about data and privacy?
  OpenCode does not store any of your code or context data. It operates locally and communicates directly with your chosen LLM provider. Enterprise customers get additional guarantees including SSO and internal AI gateway support.
